Transformers 2010 Predaking review.

March 19, 2011 in Encore releases, Transformers

“Destroy first, ask questions later.”

The closest thing to a perfect fighting machine that the Decepticons have. As a warrior he has no equal; as a weapon he has no restraints. His actions result from seemingly savage, animal instinct. Can lift 500 tons; reacts to any movement he sees within .002 seconds. Can generate protective electric field. Wields powerful X-ray laser cannon. Each foot houses twin mortar shell launchers. No known weaknesses.

Predaking glares over all other gestalts, making even the Mighty Devastator look puny in comparison. What can be said of this giant other than he is massive, huge, and one of the largest Transformers anyone could ever want or own.  This is the 2010 Japanese release as seen without stickers. Fully articulated, this version has lots of metal, clickity joints and G1 goodness. The Predacons came in a commemorative case that displays well, but when you take the Predacons out, you can see the appeal for most collectors. Now, this is not to say Predaking does not come without many faults or flaws, such as Rampage having stubby little arms, or the shear weight of the bot being cumbersome, but his attributes well overtake the flaws.

With no known weaknesses, how can any stand in his way. A more detailed review to come…
