We drive the roads

We drive the roads both east and west,

We drive the roads we like the best.

We drive the roads both north and south,

We drive the roads with open mouth.

We drive the roads with eyes wide shut,

We drive the roads ears closed shut.

We drive the roads without remorse,

We drive the roads we endorse.

We drive the roads easiest travelled,

We drive the roads all unraveled.

We drive the roads day in day out,

We drive the roads without any doubt.

We drive the roads with brand new tires,

We drive the roads burning the fires.

We drive the roads ‘til days of old,

We drive the roads ‘til we grow cold.

We drive the roads ‘til day’s end,

We drive the roads ‘til we all bend.

We drive the roads ‘til death do us part,

We drive the roads ‘til Death’s due does start.

We drive the roads ‘til our last day,

We drive the roads ‘til they lead us away.

We drive the roads, we drive the roads.
